Wall Street Journal reporter Aaron Tilley is returning to The Information to cover Apple.
He had been covering Microsoft and Apple for The Journal.
Before The Journal, Tilley has been at The Information, covering Apple and the broader hardware sector. Tilley was previously reporting for Forbes, where he got the scoop on Apple making its first wireless Bluetooth chip and did a series of in-depth pieces on how artificial intelligence is changing the chip world.
Tilley had been at Forbes since April 2013, first as an assistant producer. Before that, he interned at the San Francisco Business Times, GreenBiz Group and Seattle Business magazine.
He is a University of Washington graduate in international studies.
