WSJ reporter Ackerman among the layoffs

Wall Street Journal reporter Andrew Ackerman was among the layoffs in the Washington bureau.

He has been covering how Washington oversees Wall Street, with a focus on bank regulation, housing and consumer finance.

Ackerman has been with the Washington bureau since 2013. He previously spent two years at Dow Jones Newswires and also worked at The Bond Buyer as a regulatory affairs reporter.

Ackerman is a graduate of Emory University.
