The Wall Street Journal has tapped Dana Cimilluca to serve as Wall Street bureau chief. He is responsible for the Journal’s coverage of banks, investment firms and deals.
Recently, Cimilluca held the post of deals editor. He has been with the Journal for more than 16 years, joining as a lead writer for the “Deal Journal” deals blog. He was then named European M&A reporter, and served as deputy deals editor.
Prior to joining the Journal in 2007, Cimilluca worked for seven years at Bloomberg. There, he held the posts of telecom reporter and M&A reporter.
Cimilluca has a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College-Hartford and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
