WSJ hires Timms as national legal affairs reporter

The Wall Street Journal has hired Mariah Timms as national legal affairs reporter.

Timms previously covered the intersection of the justice system and daily life for the Tennessean. She previously covered breaking news in Nashville and in Rutherford County for the Daily News Journal, which she joined in 2017.

Before that, she worked in various roles for The Daily Herald in Columbia.

Timms is a graduate of the American International University in London.
