The Wall Street Journal has hired Patrick Coffee to cover advertising.
He will start next month.
He has been at Business Insider covering advertising. Coffee had previously worked as the editor of large at Adweek.
Prior to being the editor of large, he worked at Adweek as a senior editor from October 2016, where he wrote about breaking news, industry trends, and managed the AgencySpy blog. He was a staff writer/editor at Adweek from April 2014 to October 2016, as well.
Coffee also worked as an editor and PR manager at Mediabistro from August 2012 to April 2014.
He graduated from New School University.
