The Wall Street Journal has hired Ryan Barber to cover the Justice Department.
Barber has been covering the Justice Department and courts on the federal law enforcement beat for Insider since March 2021.
He previously covered the same beat for The National Law Journal.
Barber previously covered Massachusetts politics for the Cape Cod Times, where he was named Newsroom Rising Star by the New England Society of Newspaper Editors.
He is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
