The Wall Street Journal has agreed to a multi-year deal to provide content on Delta Airlines flights and to the Atlanta-based company’s employees.
Delta will offer SkyMiles members access to the Journal. SkyMiles members can unlock a 24-hour trial to The Journal when they log on to Delta Sync Wi-Fi, with access that continues after they land.
The partnership extends to Delta’s global workforce. Benefits-eligible and subsidiary employees will receive full digital access to The Journal.
“Through this first-of-its-kind partnership, we are providing the Delta team and their passengers with the same world-class business intelligence and professional edge that global leaders rely on every day,” said Nolly Evans, general manager of WSJ Digital, in a statement.
55% of Delta flyers say they actively engage with online news and digital magazines.
