Alice Mannette
Wichita Business Journal reporter Alice Mannette has left the American City Business Journals publication for another position.
She was the aviation, manufacturing and startup reporter. Previously, she served as editor and lead reporter for the Hutchinson News. She has written for newspapers in Kansas, Maine and Virginia.
In addition, she reported for public radio in Florida and Maine. Alice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Florida and a master’s in writing degree from Hamline University. She also taught at the university level and has won national reporting and photojournalism awards, as well as press association awards in Kansas and Virginia.
Mannette served as the regional vice president of North American Agricultural Journalists and was named one of the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Heroes of 2021.
