Russell Sherman of the “Press Profiles” podcast interviewed Reshma Kapadia of Barron’s, an associate editor who was part of the team that helped launch Barron’s annual “100 Most Influential Women in US Finance.”
Kapadia same that the list originated about six years ago to give women more spotlight who were also influential and setting trends and policy decisions.
“We’ve seen women increasingly in these roles,” said Kapadia. “This is an industry that has been dominated by men.”
The list has helped broaden Barron’s reach and audience, she added.
She said there have been more chief financial officers and economists on the list in the last couple of years.
