Julie Walker has joined Car Dealership Guy as an assistant editor.
She was a reporter at Automotive News covering automotive dealers before leaving in November.
Walker previously spent eight years at the Detroit News as a designer, copy editor and writer. She also worked at the Oakland Press and the Dearborn Press and Guide.
She has also freelanced for The Detroit Free Press, Hour Detroit, Model D Detroit, the Downriver News-Herald and the Belleville Current, among others.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
