Anuz Thapa, a video producer at TheStreet.com, is leaving the news organization.
He has been there since September 2018.
Thapa also runs a weekly podcast, “At The End Of The Day.” This podcast is a guide to the recently arriving immigrants in the United States with adjusting and making the most out of the challenges in this new place.
Prior to this, he interned as a video producer for the New York Daily News in the summer of 2017, Metropolis Magazine in the spring of 2018 and SupChina in the summer of 2018.
He regularly contributes stories of immigrants living in the U.S. for Voices of New York, an online publication. He has also freelanced for TheRealDeal.com producing regular and virtual reality 360 video stories.
He completed his master’s degree in International Reporting from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in 2017, and master’s degree in development communication from Tribhuwan University in Nepal in 2013. He worked with BBC Media Action to produce a radio program in 2015 for the earthquake survivors of Nepal.
A complete multimedia journalist, he worked as a news anchor and program producer for News 24 television, a leading television news channel in Nepal, for 5 years, covering political and social issues.
