Triangle Business Journal managing editor Dane Huffman is now engagement editor at the American City Business Journals publication.
He is leading a new push on social media platforms to attract fresh audiences to the publication.
He previously was managing WNCN.com for the CBS affiliate in Raleigh. Huffman worked at The (Raleigh) News & Observer for 24 years, at WRAL-TV for nearly four before joining WNCN in April 2011.
He was an assistant sports editor and reporter at the News & Observer. At WRAL, he was the sports editor.
Huffman is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
