Bloomberg News has hired Alyssa Lukpat as a breaking news editor.
She has been at The Wall Street Journal as a breaking news reporter for the past four years.
Before that, she was a member of the 2021-22 New York Times fellowship class. Lukpat studied data journalism at Columbia Journalism School and journalism at Northeastern University.
She has worked for the Boston Globe and The News & Observer in Raleigh, North Carolina.
