Beverly Goodman, editorial director of investing and asset management coverage at Barron’s, has been hired by TIAA to be its editor in chief.
She will start next month.
“Leaving Barron’s was not an easy decision—the team there is truly top-notch, and includes some of my favorite people,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “But I am excited for this new role at a firm dedicated to getting Americans through retirement.”
Goodman has been at Barron’s at Barron’s since September 2011. She previously was managing editor at Fidelity Investments and a senior editor at Smart Money. She was also a ssenior writer at TheStreet.com.
She also worked at Red Herring and Money magazine.
