Ellen Cranley has been named deputy managing editor at The Real Deal, a real estate publication.
She has been a senior editor overseeing residential coverage. She joined The Real Deal in 2021 as a news editor.
Previously, she has served as a weekend news intern and then as a weekend news reporter at Business Insider. She was also a communications intern at The Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital.
She has also interned at AFFORD, Boston Magazine, New England Center for Investigative Reporting and WTBU.
Cranley has a B.S. in journalism from Boston University, where she has also worked at the student newspaper
