
Alex Domash has been named an economics correspondent for The Economist based in London.
He writes stories on the global trading system, the economics of artificial intelligence, and the future of labor markets.
Domash joined the publication in 2024 as Marjorie Dean Fellow, having previously worked as a policy fellow at the Center for Global Development and USAID, and a macro research fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
He holds a BA in applied mathematics, economics, and international relations from Northwestern University, and a Master of Public Administration in international development from Harvard University where he was a Kennedy Fellow.
