Kim Gittleson, the senior editor for podcasts at The Economist, is leaving to join Prologue Projects.
Gittleson is the co-editor of “The Intelligence,” The Economist’s daily current affairs podcast. She previously worked as a podcast host at the Wall Street Journal.
Previously, Gittleson was with BBC News where she first served as a New York business correspondent and then as a senior journalist. Gittleson also worked as a business development MBA intern at Gimlet Media. She also held the posts of producer and business reporter at Freakonomics and BBC News, respectively. Additionally, she served as a contributing producer at WNYC Radio and also as a blogger at Chalkbeat.
Gittleson has also interned at Slate magazine and was a Fulbright fellow at the U.S. Department of State.
She holds an MS and MBA from Columbia where she was a Knight-Bagehot and Wiegers fellow. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.
