
Aviation news site The Air Current has hired Julie Johnsson as global correspondent.
Johnsson will widen its coverage of commercial aerospace, airlines and financial markets. She will be based in Los Angeles.

Johnsson was an award-winning journalist at Bloomberg News for 15 years. As senior aerospace reporter, she led coverage of Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the geopolitical forces shaping global aviation.
She previously covered aviation and airlines for the Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business and has been honored by SABEW and the Chicago Headline Club.
