Kelly Phillips Erb, a senior writer at Forbes since January 2023, is leaving the publication at the end of the week.
She is starting a newsletter at Taxgirl.com about tax-related news.
Erb previously worked at Forbes for nearly a decade from 2011 to 2021. She had been a columnist/editor/insights and commentary team lead at Bloomberg Tax.
Erb joined Bloomberg to write a weekly column with commentary on the latest in tax news, tax law, and tax policy. She wrote about tax and tax policy, including tax-related security and technology issues for her website Taxgirl. She was a podcaster for the Taxgirl Podcast, which focuses on issues that matter to taxpayers and tax professionals.
Erb has a B.A. from Meredith College and a JD/LLM from Temple University.
