Matthew Choi, energy reporter and author of Morning Energy newsletter at Politico, has been hired by the Texas Tribune to be its Washington correspondent.
He starts this week.
Choi joined Politico as an editorial intern and then served as a web producer and breaking news reporter. Previously, he was a reporting fellow at the Texas Tribune.
Choi graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science.
