We are delighted to announce that Brooke Sutherland will be the new Boston bureau chief.She’s looking forward to increasing Bloomberg’s presence in the Boston area, which is home to a large number of investment management firms and biotech companies, while also a key hub for water and energy projects, industrial startups and higher education.Brooke started at Bloomberg as an intern in 2011, with stints on insurance and corporate finance, covering a wide range of topics from M&A deals to the industrial economy. She’s been a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion since 2015, where she launched the Industrial Strength newsletter, amassing a loyal following of CEOs and investors who rely on her analysis of the manufacturing sector.
