Sarah Todd
STAT News assignment editor Sarah Todd is taking on a new role reporting on the commercial determinants of a person’s health.
She will be focusing on be focusing on how food, alcohol, and tobacco shape our health and looking into the business practices and policy decisions that can ameliorate or perpetuate chronic disease.
Todd was previously a senior reporter at Quarter. She joined Quartz in 2015 as a deputy editor, Ideas and later, served as a social sciences editor. Her work appeared in The Atlantic, Salon, Inc. and American Banker.
Previously, she was a reporter at American Banker and deputy editor of BankThink, American Banker’s blog about ideas, trends, and other developments in the financial services industry.
Todd has a B.A. from Pomona College and a master’s degree from the University of Oregon.
