STAT News taps Facher as addiction reporter

Lev Facher

Lev Facher, a Washington correspondent covering health policy at STAT News, has taken on the role of addiction reporter.

Facher tweets:

“My new focus is accountability journalism aimed at our addiction treatment + prevention system, calling out its failures — and showcasing efforts to save lives.”

Previously, he interned at Michigan Radio and the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGATE. He was managing editor of The Michigan Daily, University of Michigan’s student paper.

Facher graduated from the University of Michigan.
