Reuters correspondent Gabriel Stargardter has moved to Paris to become deputy bureau chief and chief correspondent for France.
He previously was in Brazil for six years and also worked for Reuters in Mexico.
Stargardter was also a freelancer for The Wire and The Observer, among other places.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
