Sports business publication Sportico is starting a sports business show in partnership with the YES Network.
The show will be called the “Sportico Sports Business Presented by Genius Sports” and will appear monthly. It will premiere on the YES Network and on The Gotham Sports App Tuesday, March 18, at 10:30 p.m. ET immediately following YES’ Brooklyn Nets postgame show.
Bob Lorenz, YES’ primary New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets studio host and winner of 19 New York Emmy Awards, will host the show. He will be joined by Sportico staff members. The first show will feature commentary from Sportico’s editor-in-chief Scott Soshnick and deputy editor Eben Novy-Williams.
“It’s the perfect combination of insightful journalism and broadcasting excellence,” said Soshnick in a statement. “We look forward to entertaining and educating legions of sports fans.”
Rival Front Office Sports has also recently launched a sports business show.
