The Spokane Journal of Business has named a new editor and a new deputy editor.

A story on its website states, “Erica Bullock has been promoted to editor, and Dylan Harris has been promoted to deputy editor.

“‘I am very pleased to have Erica lead our newsroom into the future, and I am also thrilled to have Dylan right by her side as deputy editor,’ says Paul Read, publisher of the Journal. ‘Together, they have shown the kind of commitment to our readers and the business community that gives me confidence that the Journal — now completing its 40th year — will be around to serve the Inland Northwest for another 40 years.’

“The change in leadership follows the recent departure of Linn Parish, who served as editor of the Journal for eight years. Parish now works at Eastern Washington University as director of communications and media relations.

“The transition also follows the retirement earlier this year of Mike McLean, who had worked at the Journal since 2005, most recently as deputy editor.”
