Siu among the layoffs at Business Insider

Diamond Naga Siu

Diamond Naga Siu, who runs the Business Insider “10 Things in Tech” newsletter at Business Insider, is among the layoffs.

She joined Insider in 2021 as a senior tech reporter for App Ecosystem and then served as a senior tech reporter for Big Tech careers.

Siu worked as a general assignment reporter, early career employee resource group co-leader, diversity committee co-leader and union first vice chair at Law360. She was an overnight producer at the New York Post.

She interned at The Boston Globe, NBC News, City A.M., Vice Media and politico. She was a fellow at Mashable.

Siu graduated from New York University.

He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
