Reuters correspondent Rachel Savage is leaving the news organization for a new opportunity.
She has been the Africa senior markets correspondent covering African markets and finance since 2022.
Savage previously was at Thomson Reuters Foundation, where she was a deputy editor and reporter. She has also worked freelance. Savage has also worked as East Africa correspondent and then as West Africa correspondent at The Economist.
She was also a web reporter and web editor at Management Today. She has also interned at the Financial Times and Bloomberg.
Savage is a University of Oxford graduate.
