Crypto news site Sandmark has hired Parikshit Mishra as South Asia editor.
He was CoinDesk’s head of Asia, managing the editorial team in the region. He previously was deputy managing editor of breaking news.
Before joining CoinDesk, he was the EMEA editor at Acuris (Mergermarket), where he dealt with copies related to private equity and the startup ecosystem.
Mishra has also worked as a senior analyst for CRISIL, covering the European markets and global economies. His most notable tenure was with Reuters, where he worked as a correspondent and an editor for various teams over four years.
Mishra holds a master’s degree from Madras Christian College.
Established in 2025 by a Switzerland-based entrepreneur, Sandmark operates internationally with editorial hubs in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
