The Sacramento Bee has hired Lizzie Kane to cover the agriculture sector in California.
She has been freelancing for the Chicago Sun-Times covering housing.
Before that, she was a real estate reporter at the Chicago Tribune. She covered affordable housing and residential real estate. Before the Tribune, she was a real estate reporting intern at Bloomberg News.
Previously, Kane interned at The Indianapolis Star, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Dallas Morning News and the Baltimore Brew.
Kane has a B.A. from Davidson College.
