Katherine Ross, a senior news editor at crypto news site Blockworks before being affected by the layoffs last month, has joined Seratonin as an editorial and communications strategist.
She had previously been a news editor and a senior breaking news reporter based in Austin, and she also wrote the “Empire” newsletter.
Ross worked as a senior producer and correspondent at TheStreet for five years prior to joining Blockworks.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on journalism from Sarah Lawrence College.
