Automotive News reporter Carly Schaffner has left the publication after nearly four years.
She had been covering the Southern California-based auto brands and burgeoning EV startups.
Before that, she was an assigning editor at Forbes Wheels, an automotive vertical focused on providing product news and industry trends. Before that, she served as managing editor at Trucks.com, a news site which provides insights on trucking news.
She has also held business communication roles at the Financial Times and the editorial arm of Thomson Reuters.
Schaffner holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in communication from New York University.
