Reidy to become Bloomberg Opinion columnist

Gearoid Reidy is becoming a Bloomberg Opinion columnist.

Reidy has been a Bloomberg News senior editor covering Japan equities. He previously led the breaking news team in North Asia and was the Tokyo deputy bureau chief.

Reidy was also the project manager for automated journalism from July 2017 to February 2020 in Tokyo for Bloomberg.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dublin City University and a master’s degree from the University of Sheffield.
