Quartz reporter Nicolás Rivero is leaving the news organization to become a climate reporter for the Miami Herald.
Rivero has been covering transportation with a technology and climate focus. He has been at Quartz since July 2018, starting as a chatbot writer and then newsletter writer.
He interned at Mental Floss and Miami New Times.
Rivero holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
