Politico has named Ben Leonard to cover health care politics and policy, starting Aug. 7.
Leonard has been a health technology reporter, covering digital health action from D.C. at agencies, in Congress and in the White House, as well as the industry at large.
He previously covered breaking news for Politico as an intern and has reported for NBC News, the Baltimore Sun and the Tampa Bay Times.
He’s a graduate of Duke University, where he studied public policy and journalism.
