She previously covered credit and municipal finance, among other beats.
Lowenkron recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper.
She holds a B.A. in urban studies and a minor in journalism
Lowenkron previously interned for Bloomberg News and is a former intern at the New York Times Student Journalism Institute, The Plug, WHYY PlanPhilly, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Center for Constitutional Rights.
