Politico health tech reporter Ruth Reader has left to join Christina Farr’s Second Opinion media company.
Reader will also be working on longer-term projects for Hunterbrook Media.
She previously had been a health technology reporter at Fast Company magazine for nearly six years.
Reader also worked at Mic and at VentureBeat. She also was a digital media producer for New York Public Radio and a producer for Voice of America Radio. She also spent four years as a contributing writer to Baltimore City Paper.
Reader holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Chicago.
