American Banker reporter Brendan Pedersen is leaving the publication for a new opportunity.
His last day is Friday.
Pedersen has been covering financial policy. He had previously covered the FDIC, OCC and financial tech regulation.
Before joining American Banker, Pedersen was a reporter at Kiplinger Personal Finance covering tech, money and health care.
Pedersen spent a summer working as a reporter at BusinessDen.com, which covers business news in Colorado, as a Dow Jones News fund intern. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a degree in journalism and political science.
He also worked at Kiplinger one summer as part of the American Society of Magazine Editor’s summer immersion program.
