The New York Times has hired Lauren Steussy as an assistant editor in the Los Angeles bureau.
She previously was a senior editor at Business Insider, which she joined in March 2022.
Steussy previously was at the New York Post as a features reporter and an associate features editor. She also worked at the Staten Island Advance and the Orange County Register, as well as NBC San Diego.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California-Davis.
