That’s slightly higher than the $20.3 million in total compensation that he received in the fiscal 2024 years, according to the company’s proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Thomson’s base salary remained the same at $3 million, and his stock awards fell by more than $300,000 to slightly more than $10 million in the 2025 fiscal year. But his non-equity incentive plan compensation rose to $6.8 million from $6.17 million in the 2024 fiscal year.

His all-other compensation rose to $544,142 in the 2025 fiscal year from $518,413 in the 2024 fiscal year.

Thomson, 64, was managing editor of The Wall Street Journal and editor in chief of Dow Jones from 2008 to 2012 before assuming his current role.
