Catherine Neilan, senior U.K. political editor at Business Insider, has left and joined Tortoise as an editor, focused on politics.
Previously, Neilan was a politics live editor at The Telegraph.
Before that, she was with City A.M., where she worked as a social media editor, breaking news and communities editor, and then as a political editor.
She worked various jobs in London, including as a news editor for Drapers, as deputy news editor for Broadcast, and as a reporter and senior reporter for The Bookseller Magazine. She reported and edited for the Financial Times and was a production assistant at Guardian News and Media.
Neilan has a B.A. from the University of Bristol and a M.A. in international journalism from City University of London.
