NBC News has hired Eli Rosenberg to be on its tech investigations team to cover the intersection of technology and labor.
He will start on May 9 and be based in the San Francisco bureau.
Rosenberg was previously a labor and work reporter at the Washington Post. He wrote about how economic social forces, as well as the decisions of businesses and policymakers, are shaping the lives of workers.
He joined The Post in 2017 after a decade in New York, where he worked at the Times, the Daily News, and the Brooklyn Paper. At the Times, he was a reporter on the metro desk.
Rosenberg has covered misinformation campaigns, politics in the Trump era, immigration issues, and fires and other disasters across the country.
He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in American literature and Latin American studies.
