He previously worked as a staff writer for Gizmodo, where he covered the intersection of tech, politics, and online extremism, and as a reporter on Mic’s politics desk. His work has appeared on sites as varied as Yahoo News, AOL, HuffPo, Business Insider, Snoop Dogg’s Merry Jane, Wonkette and The Daily Banter.
McKay is a graduate of New College of Florida.
