Tanya Basu, a senior reporter covering the intersection of humans and technology at MIT Technology Review, has left. Her tweet reads:
“So what’s next? I co-designed a strategic card game, Picky Eaters, with my husband this past winter. We, @lefoullc, are launching Picky Eaters on July 11 on @kickstarter. To be clear: I am *not* leaving journalism. More soon! That’s all I’ll say for now.”
Previously, Basu was a senior editor at The Daily Beast, where she edited, wrote and shaped coverage for Science, Hunt for the Cure, and Innovation verticals. She worked as a science editor at Inverse.com and was a reporter at Time magazine.
She was also an editorial fellow at The Atlantic and reported on presidential activities as a White House pooler at Reuters. She interned at NPR.
Basu has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Illinois-Chicago and another master’s degree from Northwestern University.
