Timothy Gibbons, the editor of the Jacksonville Business Journal, has been named the editor of the Milwaukee Business Journal, which is also owned by American City Business Journals.
He replaces Mark Kass, who left after 20 years with the publication.
Gibbons joined the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2013 as managing editor after years of reporting and editing that included flying with the Blue Angels, riding on freight trains and sitting through pension fund meetings, He has reported and edited at publications in Germany, Ohio and Pennsylvania as well as freelancing for newspapers and magazines in the United States and Europe.
He previously was business editor of the Florida Times-Union. A native of Pennsylvania, he has a master’s degree from Columbia University.
