Elena Mejía has joined Bloomberg Graphics as a graphics reporter. She wrote on X/Twitter:

Recently, Mejía was at FiveThirtyEight, where she held the posts of associate visual journalist and then visual journalist. She interned at San José’s general purpose newspaper La Nación – Costa Rica and was an assistant editor at New York-based nonprofit The Nation Institute.
She also interned at The Texas Observer, The Indianapolis Star, San Antonio Express-News and The Texas Tribune.
Mejía has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Texas, where she was a senior reporter at the student newspaper. She has a master’s degree in data journalism from Columbia University.
