She previously was a freelance contributing writer at Community Advocate Newspaper in Hudson, Massachusetts. She has also worked as a freelance investigative reporter for the Boston Institute for Nonprofit Journalism.
She has also interned at WCVB-TV, the ABC-affiliated TV station in Boston and WFXT Boston 25 News.
Marathe has a B.S. in broadcast journalism from Emerson College.
