Jonathan Berr, a business journalist who worked for a number of different publications, died Wednesday due to Parkinson’s. He was 58.
He was freelancing for the last two years.
Berr previously was a reporter at Industry Dive, primarily writing for its Payments Dive publication.
Berr also freelanced for a number of publications, including Forbes, Bisnow, CBS Moneywatch, InvestorPlace Media and MSN.
He previously spent eight years at Bloomberg News, covering tech companies, the defense industry and the media industry. Berr also worked for Bridge News, Inside Washington Publishers and TheStreet.com.
Berr is a Temple University graduate.
