Brit Morse, who covered leadership and helped write the CHRO newsletter, was among the layoffs at Fortune.
She joined the publication in October 2024.
“I genuinely enjoyed the job and being part of such a talented newsroom of writers and editors, talking with C-suite executives and covering the most important workplace-related topics of today,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
Morse previously was an associate editor at Inc. covering the worlds of HR, public policy, and legal affairs for both the print edition of Inc. magazine and Inc.com.
Morse also worked as a contract staffer for Forbes on the tenth annual addition of the Forbes Next Billion Dollar Startups package, which appeared in print and online.
Morse has a B.A. from Denison University.
