Law360 names Russ editor at large

Hilary Russ has now an editor at large at Law360, where she will edit and write about corporate bankruptcies for the outlet’s Bankruptcy Authority.

Recently, Russ was at Thomson Reuters, where she covered restaurants, municipal bonds and public finance. She was a senior reporter at Portfolio Media, publishers of the Law 360 Newswires, where she launched the New York bankruptcy court beat and the white collar crime beat.

She reported for the Cape Cod Times, interned at Newsday and freelanced for City Limits, a nonprofit news organization based in New York City.

Russ has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree from The New School in New York City. She has second master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
